CHRISTMAS MESSAGE: UGONSA EULOGIZES NURSES; URGES THEM TO REMAIN AWAKE TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES

The University Graduates of Nursing Science Association (UGONSA), a.k.a, Graduate Nurses Association of Nigeria (GNAN) has expressed its sincere appreciation of Nurses for their altruistic sacrifices in care of mankind.
In a Christmas and New Year message by its national secretary, Nur. G.I. Nshi, the association also urged nurses to remain awake to their responsibilities to humanity.
In the message, Nur. Nshi stated: “This is to thank you for the enormous selfless work you are doing for mankind. From our conception till when we were delivered, nurses were there for us; from our childhood till adulthood, nurses cared and are still caring for us; in sickness, in health and at the moment of death, nurses remain the physical guardian angels to mankind. Strange and dreaded killer diseases may browbeat friends, relatives and even other healthcare providers to abandon us but not nurses. We cannot but sincerely appreciate your great selfless work from the depths of our heart. Thank you!
“On behalf of our amiable leader, Chief (Hon.) Solomon E.O. Egwuenu, we wish you a memorable Christmas and a prosperous New year in advance.
“As we look forward to deepening the root of our professionalism in the coming year, we passionately urge you to remain awake to your critical but mostly under-appreciated responsibilities. By the grace of God we are more than conquerors!
